Scones have always been so daunting to me, but now I’m finding them quite easy to make! I’ve confidently mastered these rosemary white cheddar scones, but am slowly adding some sweet ones to the list. My strawberry lemonade scones didn’t look nearly as fancy as the originals, but they tasted good!

Trader Joe’s lemon curd was the key. These scones are fairly buttery and needed something tart. I ate two straight out of the oven, with lots of lemon curd on every bite.

I’ll probably add more lemon to this recipe in the future, but to be honest, I don’t know if I’d ever make these again if I can master cherry ginger scones instead…
